The suspense is killing me!!! I like the premise of this series and the characters, but all five episodes so far could’ve been wrapped up into two. I’m certain if I keep watching week after week, I’m going to be disappointed. So far I have. I’ve grown tired of the blank stares of fright or deer-caught-in-the-headlights-look to nothing happening!!! Please do not end this series on a cliffhanger. If possible, more conclusive action. Enough with the negatives, I mentioned the characters. I love Sam Neill, who must be a magnet for Sci Fi productions. I wonder: do we get to see more of the black female cop from the 1st episode? And THE KIDS? What happens to do them? What’s with the black residue on the seat of the candy truck and why does the radio come on when one of the kids get close to it? I have so many questions which is why I truly hate watching series. They seem to drag on the same way I am at this point. 😜

Please create part 2 quickly. It’s a solid 9/10 for ACTION, plot & satisfying bad guy punishment. Love the cast of characters. I hope in part 2, we see more ax wielding! I haven’t seen that much female action carnage since Kill Bill. I love strong, heroic female leads. The only snag I have is why was it named “Old Guard?”

It’s not Game of Thrones. I’m okay with that. Hopefully the characters I’ve fallen in love with will obtain their happy endings, even though this season has left me with more questions than answers. As a nonreader of the books, I had difficulty with the pacing. I felt I could’ve binged the entire season on fast forward and walked away more satisfied. I’m giving the show 4.2 stars because the casting of characters is great, the story is still captivating although slow and the anticipation of the next season is very strong. The happier ending than GOT makes escaping into this world a little easier. Thank you not killing off major characters. One star off for slow pacing. How are these guys connected??? I’m still left in the dark. I wonder if I can read fast enough to see what happens next.
