I can't even imagine why anyone would rate this movie less than 5 stars. Totally brilliant.

The ending is brilliant. Very well done movie.

Gaaaah. DO NOT read the book then watch the movie. Oh my god did they ever butcher it. The book is brilliant. Jeanette Walls deserves more.

It is hard to find movies worthy of Charlize Theron. This is not one of them in my opinion. 4 stars because of her supreme presence.

I tried so god damn hard to find some metaphors that were consistent at leeeeast but I just felt pissed off at the end from the endless amount of holes. The only way I could rationalize it would be to look at it like I would a dream.. where maybe you can interpret some chunky metaphors but it is ultimately excused from making any sense because it is your subconscious trying to make sense of what happening and failing. "Get out" was completely coherent and brilliant. I really want to but don't understand what happened here.
