Vespertine is more than a recording - it is an artwork. It is cohesive, and it rises above songs being sung. every aspect works together in harmony to push the beautiful themes. The music and lyrics both tell stories in tandem with a crystalline and crips sound that works effortlessly. Some say this album is inaccessible, when it really isn't - because music this well thought should be hard to appreciate and to understand. It tells personal stories about affection, romance, love, and being happy with or without them. The creative genius of this album goes beyond how it uses samples intuitively; the sonic aura is an artwork, and displays Bjork's massive talent at a time when scrutiny of her life was at its peak.

I love this album so much' however it is getting slander from toxic people (you already know who i'm talking about) who wanted a pop album. This is hyperpop!!! the production is so creative and has influence behind it. It just sucks how fandoms who prefer other genres slander it. If they have a problem just listen to ed sheeran or something boring!!! Your phone doesn't reach out an arm and make you listen to something you don't wanna hear like WHAT. Anyways 10/10 listen NOW.
