Entirely too much build up for, what was in the end, a conclusion that seemed to come out of nowhere - never mind realistically. No-one in the characterโs state, played by Gere, is suddenly cured as is portrayed. That, and just a lack of closure, in terms of the characterโs relations. So many possibilities of where the plot could have been takenโฆ but then suddenly โcuredโ and happyโฆ like an 80โs soap opera of sorts. Too bad, really.
