I give it a 6.5/10 but, since It was an enjoyable movie and I think they could improve on somethings on a possible MK 2. I think there should be a little more thorough character development (although I am surprised the movie was 1:50 because it felt a lot shorter), fight scenes were really fun, the MK game references could have been better put at different times (except Kung Lao's that one was awesome). Some of the villains did not seem powerful enough or at least had too little screen time (especially Goro). The reason I put 4 stars is just because I think this was a good step in the right direction for the series and I think they could really build upon this new franchise!
