Starts off a little slow for the first hour or two, as they set up the basis for the story, but the game really picks up right after the title sequence. The story was great and emotional.
There is a quite lot to do in this game besides just the main story. Like haunting cases to solve, side quests, world exploration, "Arena like" fights, treasure hunting, & collectables. There is a lot of lore to discover throughout world, expanding on the Banishers "universe".
Combat is alright. It's balanced, not overly difficult nor complicated. Nothing like the combat found in the aggravating "Soul-like" games. There is a leveling system, with a few perk trees that become available as you progress through and are able to change perks choose freely, with no penalty. There are 8 different equipment slots, all for a particular type of equipment. Equipment have didn't stats, different perks, and can be upgraded.
