The big problem with the show Danson tried to hard NOT to be Sam Malone

I'm going to get right to the point when it was Rosanne it suck, now The Connors, it sucks even more. . . The writing is terrible well actually it is not even writing just through out one-line zinger. Heck I can do that. I don't understand how this show is still on.

The show was fun until they decided to have Fran and Maxwell get involved romantically and after they married and Fran got pregnant then the show really wen downhill. The think that I found the show doing that was so annoying was the 1 minute "three stooges" between the butler and C.C.

It's an o.k. show but storylines became repetitious. (i.e., first there is the anthrax, then the typhus same scenarios.) Then how many episodes were done where Charles and the family leave for "greener" pastures after they lose their crops. Then Charles friend loses his barn in a tornado then a fire. Boring.

Was a fan and still. Great writing and storylines. After the character Rhoda in the fourth season was written off the show, the magic for me was gone. Later episodes became repetitious and not funny.

I am a big fan of Betty White but this show is way too corny. but then in the early 1950s, there was only 3 networks to watch so that is why I gave it 2 stars.

It is an o.k. show. The story lines need something to be desired. I found most of the story lines to be korny. The eposide where Matt is stalked by a mental patient who he picked up in a bar. Isn't that a normal story line for most police shows? Later it was Fatal Attraction which was much better. Another episode was gunmen hunting athletes as if they were wild animals. How many times has this story line been done? As mentioned the story lines were korny and the dialog wasn't the best. I can see why the show only lasted three seasons.
