Has potential but still falls short. The acting is basic at best. Dialogue is boring. Pace is slow. They stretch each scene way too long. I see no passion.

Generally I'm not a fan of Sean Penn, his acting is always on point it's more his attitude in real life towards his fanbase (personal experience) but his involvement in this project I believe elevated several notches above other Mars based movies and shows.

This movie was obviously a lower budget film with not many retakes. So much potential with Liam and Lawrence. It looks like they just did it to get a movie out there. Your forgiven this time but next movie I expect better performances.

As an adventure it's fun. However it's not even close to convincing. The acting is transparent and halfhearted. The scenery is pretty. The props are lacking though, s1e3 the flatbed truck is mostly intact? The tires hold air? The wood bed is still there? This is just 1 example.

At first it seemed like a nice wholesome tv show. And it is for the most part. There are no overt same sex relationships , there is one man (Lowel) that is a little feminine but is trying to masculine up by befriending Matt's character Adam. There is a fine line between portraying reality and projecting an agenda based on a liberal view of how things should be. Normalizing things like porn and same sex relationships. Maybe that's why it got canceled? It worked for Modern family because that is what the show was all about and was watched by mostly liberal viewers.
