Elizabeth Lyons

I have never written a movie or series review. This series is so compelling, so amazingly directed I could not stop watching it even though I was up half the night and had to work the next day! The acting is superb,the characters are in depth even the ones who are only briefly on the screen. The storyline is riveting and takes one of the oldest most intellectual games to new heights. I highly recommend this series even if you know nothing about chess because it’s far more than just a story about chess, and explores the human condition and spirit in all of its joys and sorrows.
