I like Nick Frost, I like Malcolm McDowell and I like a decent comedy.
This isn't very funny. Why people are giving it 4.5 stars is a mystery to me, but as I was trawling Amazon for something to watch because broadcast TV is so dire, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised.

I think other reviewers have said it all. Brutal and quite sad, you can see how Joker became the master villain of Gotham city. Gripping story, quite disturbing with a few surprises in there for good measure.
We need some follow-ups for the other villains such as Riddler and Penguin (though Danny DeVito takes some beating with his sad story).

A fun little romp from the 90s. I happen to know the area where it was filmed well, so that added to my enjoyment. The police station for example was built as a prop, it's in actual fact a bus shelter.
Not been down that part of the country for abut 15 years, hoping to visit this coming week to see how much has changed.
