First 2 seasons were great. Then in season 3 they kill off Brandon for no reason. Jerrika disappears, the housing case leading to Otis Perry and the 63rd mob, the detectives, and all just vanished into thin air without any explanations. They start promoting LGBTQ family and all the black men in the series are portrayed as dysfunctional. The only solid was Brandon. Between Otis running for mayor and Trig running for city Council i don't know which is funnier. There was absolutely no reason that kid shot Ronnie. Brandon's mom coming out of nowhere to shoot Otis and Imani disappearing because Trig beat up an annoying kid are just senseless. The show can do better

This show was literally supposed to be about falcon and winter soldier, bringing captain america in the first episode seems too rushed, like it's being forced on the audience. Good fight scenes, storyline is great, there's even a bit if humor every now and then. The captain america is just a big NO for me. It's a distraction and a nuisance because they might have to remove him and put someone else

Quality production, costume, and delivery. Poor writing. The lead role's character developed quite slowly. The writers tried so hard to make her look ungrateful and reckless but failed due to illogical experiences they used. Ava killed a demon in the first episode at the church, then killed the nun at the orphanage and didn't feel anything. In trying to make a character that secretly fights for humanity, you don't make them kill in the first two seasons. Especially killing a human being (since her heroism is killing demons). She, falling for that scam of a boy and him dumping his friends for her shows poor conceptualization of bad decision making.
