The greatest show of all time. I watched this after watching some of the most remarkable shows of the 21st century like BB and GoT, and I can say that The Sopranos stands tall above all. Being a mob boss and a family man, how Tony Soprano manages his life, makes us hate and empathize with him at the same time. His sessions with Dr. Melfi are gold. The great acting, screenplay, and writing cannot be praised enough as the show is known for ushering in a new era of TV. The music of the show adds another layer to the depth of the whole storytelling process. The songs are so very well picked that you won't be able to hold yourself from searching them on the internet and saving to your library. While talking about The Sopranos how can one not talk about the climax. The way David Chase ends the show!!! It leaves us with a sense of yearning to see the complete picture, which makes us keep connecting the dots from previous episodes. True genius.

No doubt, the best tv show in the genre ever. It's a show about nothing and yet everything. It's not your usual sitcom where creators want you to fall in love with the characters and then gradually make a sitcom into a rom-com. After watching this, comedy shown in popular shows like Friends and HIMYM would seem sub-standard. The comedy in Seinfeld is so subtle and on-point, it will lighten your mood immediately. Kudos to Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld for the way they have nitpicked on the behavioral intricacies and insecurities of the humans, and for how they have mocked the events of the time. All four major characters are excellent and bring their own style of comedy to the table. Kramer's physical comedy; ever sublime and charming Elaine Benes; George's excellent comic timing and self-deprecating humor; and of course, Jerry Seinfeld's observational standups, present an all-time classic. Also, all the supporting characters are so well written that producers could have easily made spin-offs out of any of them. My personal favorite is the Kramer's lawyer Jackie Chiles, who is actually based on a real-life lawyer, Johnnie Cochran of O J Simpson's trial. Yes, they have made fun of that trial too. Seinfeld's motto is not to make you feel emotional and teach life lessons, but to make you just laugh. As Jerry Seinfeld himself has said, the show's motto is "No hugging and no learning." Start binging it today.
