If this game was called "tales from thedas" or "mages blight" or anything else for that matter it would had good reviews because it's not a bad game. The game is actually fun. The problem is that it's suppose to be a dragon age game and a continuation of Inquisition but it doesn't feel like a dragon age game at all. The writing isn't the best and is childish, also the freedom from the dragon age franchise is none existent. In my opinion it plays more like god of war (PS5 era) and Hogwarts legacy combined.

I just finished days gone. I have to say it was well worth the money and time to play it. Spending hours to prepare for a good horde fight, running out of gas or being sniped from a tree in an ambush to find that I used my scrap to repair my melee weapon so I'm on the hunt again for scrap to repair my bike. I really liked the scarce resources it made the game seem more like the world had ended. Overall I give days gone an A+. Its a great open world game. And i hope there is more like it in the future.
