I honestly didn't think Hollywood could make a Western anymore but this movie far surpasses anything that has been released this year, to this point.

I would have given this a thumbs up if it was rated PG-13. There is no way small children should see this movie with their parents in the theater. As a higher rated movie it's fine, a good follow up. Not the greatest but not terrible. As a movie for children it's inappropriate. SPOILER! There is literally a scene in which faeries are taken into a room and gassed. One of the three main faeries is literally 'killed' and does not turn back at the end. As an adult watching this though the war scenes are well paced and colourful. Having the villain SPOILER turned into a goat at the end kinda ruined it for me, don't build her up as this terrible person and then use her as a punch line, ya know? It's good for a discounted ticket don't pay full price.

It deviates from what the preview made it look like it would be. It seemed like it would be a story of the two last people on earth trying to make it to the last shuttle off of the planet but halfway through it just stops plot wise. I absolutely abhorred the forced love story aspect, it was not only cringey but pointless. If they had stuck with what the trailer showed it honestly could have been a really great movie, it seemed halfway through the writers forgot what story they were supposed to be telling and suddenly remembered the last 20 minutes. Also, with no spoilers, the ending sucks. I'm all for movies that make you think at the end but this felt so much like a cop out and it left such a bad taste in my mouth. Was a slap in the face to finishing the movie.
