I’m going to roll back the clock and get some of my inner-90’s-child (teen) lingo out here.
I won’t have to delve too deep, as I was raised in SoCal. We (SoCal dudes growing up in the 80’s and 90’s) have the “F@&k growing up” syndrome.
This game is great!
It doesn’t have the Half-Life 2, Red Dead 2, The Last Of Us, the ENTIRE Bioshock series, or even come close to the storytelling of Edith Finch WOW factor.
However…
You will jump (scare) if you get caught looking the other way, but not like you would with a sweaty, fear soaked controller back when Silent Hill was boss.
I must admit…
I got to play it pre-beta (shhhhh), before it was Xbox beta-beta. I also played the open beta. So… I saw it really early and premature.
BTW
I had fun. A lot!
It’s way better that most games out there. It’s worth the cost of GamePass for sure. It’s also pretty rad for hooking up with a cool team and just shooting zombies while a crazy person on your team just does his own thing. It’s pretty funny.
Bottom line is, it’s way better that any movie that has come out this year, most Xbox games, and it’s also dope that you can download it fast (Gamepass - less than 40gb).
Let’s wait till Halo Infinite until we completely love or kill a game with a 1 star or a 5 star.
Sound familiar? CyberPunk fans? Get over it!
I like it a lot. I would pay the retail price for the game if I didn’t have GamePass. It’s worth it.
It’s really fun!
Help me get out of this marriage. She’s killing our soul (my daughter and I). She drained me. Took everything but our daughter, thank Jebus!!

It’s not L4D. Don’t compare.
