A good classic film the horror element of it doesn't hold up today that well so if you are looking for a old but good vampire film try the lost boys.

You might not want to listen to my advice because I haven't watched it. But I heard that it is supposed to be more soapy than scary. I don't like my scary movies soapy not that I have tried a soapy/horror movie. But you might like soapy/scary stuff

Great movie, you don't get bored by it. keeps you entertained from the beginning to the end. it is also interesting how a movie can be amazing with a simple plot line and easy to follow.
