A reason it has a bad rep is because it got a bad start and never fully recovered but it’s actually a fun game, it has a more positive, upbeat feel to a majority of the maps, the story is a challenge but intresting, there are many guns and different upgrades to try, there are many challenges to get cosmetics, you can easily play casually or competitively, the people are decent, and it’s just entertaining to play overall. There are a few things wrong with it like in the beginning the menus are a little hard to navigate and it’s not cross-platform, the battle royale is not all that great, and it’s missing a lot of the wow factor of it’s predecessor, Battlefield 1, the facts shown in-game over WWII are very inaccurate which for whatever reason kills the game for most people. I give it a 4 out of 5 because where it’s predecessor lacked content it made up for it, the few expansion packs add a huge amount of content, and the gameplay is very enjoyable but there are a few things it’s lacking.
