This was a great movie to watch, with romance, comedy, and lots of action. I thought De Armas and Evans were convincing as a couple falling in love despite their desire not to do so. Who wouldn't go for her!!!! It was interesting to see such actors as Adrian Brody playing a French bad guy, and Tim Blake as a Russian devil. I understand that De Armas did most of her stunts - she can really move. The cameos by Cho, Stan, Gorman and Mackie were priceless and very short. I must confess that while being Canadian, I am getting a little tired of Ryan Reynolds popping up everywhere in movies. I noted in the credits that Chris Evans is listed as producer, and Ana De Armas as executive producer (another way of getting paid more and of course some critical input into the making of the movie. I would watch this again in the future.

I started watching this 2007 movie on the Family Channel. I was really bored being in Covid quarantine. I have never been a big fan of John Cusak, but I quickly got caught up in the alien child concept: seeing a big cardboard box lift up and you see little shoes walking around in the rain, looking out a small porthole because Earth's sunlight was too strong for him, then later seen wearing a belt of "C" batteries held together with duct tape. The kid believes he was dropped off by his Martian parents to conduct an observation mission on Earthlings. The biggest hurdle to overcome was the fact that Child services allowed a science fiction writer get to take him as a foster parent. Once past that mental obstacle, the rest of the movie was a delight. It was skillfully written and acted. The ensemble of John Cusak, his real-life sister Joan (ironically playing his sister), 6-year-old Bobby Cole, and Amanda Peet as the potential love interest, were a perfect fit. You could really believe he was an alien. I crushed on Amanda Peet all over again. So I gave it 5 stars but would give it more if I could. I plan to watch it again in future.

This movie did not seem to have much in the way of a follow-up to the first movie with its star-studded cast. The only carryover was Kevin Durand who is listed in the cast (but I did not recognize him at any time). It was a far-fetched vehicle for some recognizable B-level actors. It looks like they had fun making it. I must say that Tom Berenger is always a good addition to any film (vastly underrated in my opinion). The characters were as outrageous as the plot line. The only surprise was seeing Berenger seeming to get away, but gets shot just as he is ready to drive off. The only confusing part was the relationship Vinnie Jones had with the gorgeous Black Widow. The film I saw did have low-quality sound. While it was just a low-budget movie the acting was pretty good. I would not likely watch it again. But it worth watching once with some popcorn.

A good crime/political movie that moves along fast enough action-wise. The first 20 minutes were very innovative when the bank robbery takes place I admit I had to rewatch the last 20 minutes or so to be clear on what was happening. For me, Olga Kurylenko can do no wrong. And I have liked James Purefoy. I believe he has been underrated. I would watch her in anything. The supporting cast was largely unknown to me but did a very credible job.

Copshop was an intriguing film with a good ensemble cast. Alexis Louder as officer Valerie Young stood out way above the rest with her cool attitude and determination to see justice done. The actor playing Lamb was next in line for the best acting as a hired killer who sings and quips his way through the carnage he accomplished. Both Grillo and Butler were only supporting actors in this wild west type of shootout, but essential to the story. I probably would not watch it again until it hits T.V.

This is absolutely one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It is a swan song for Daniel Craig, but it was more like a swan dive onto the rocks below. I tried 4 times to watch it, but could not get past the part where Remi Maleck is seeing psychologist Lea Seydoux. He had not aged in the 20 years from the start of the movie. I finally forced myself to watch the whole thing. I would never watch it again. Bearing in mind they lost the first director and the first writers, then brought on a new director and 3 new writers, with Craig inputting dialogue also. And, of course, the worlwide pandemic did not help things.t seemd like a series of barely related vignettes. Anna de Armas' performance was the only saving grace. Naomie Harris was badly underutilized The concept of DNA nanocytes was poorly carried out. We have known for years that Bond and Blofeld were related, so why didn't Lea and her daughter die when Bond touched them?? Only the last 30 minutes or so were where Bond acted like the Bond we have known and appreciated. The movie could easily been cut to 1 1/2 hours and made more sense. The new actress Lynch was underwhelming. This is a new low for the Bond franchise. Ian Fleming would be turning over in his grave.
