This is a great movie which is well balanced between a thriller and a delicate subtle romance in the background. A compelling watch. A masterpiece. The anticlimax is beautifully orchestrated

A beautiful artistic portrayal of a path breaking explorer of the epicurean type. The documentary is very paced and beautifully mixed/ edited to keep the viewer glued on. The journey of Jeremiah Tower from a kid to the his peaking and finally dwindling away.
It's as if Tower's life since a child was placed such that he fulfills his destiny of becoming bone of the pioneers in modern American cuisine.
A must watch for anybody who loves food and that I think is everybody
