So good to see a new soap, first of all. To have it be an unconventional one - with a mostly black cast - is a breath of fresh air. Sadly, in today's America, it will be seen as "a black soap opera" as opposed to a soap opera. That said, it rings all the bells for me, good story start, nice character establishment. And in my opinion there has never been any daytime TV show with so many beautiful women featured..but again, in today's America, many won't agree or will only see just another black actress..

It's very difficult to make a color flm noir movie or TV show. But this one shows you can do it - you just might not be successful in getting an audience. This show, starring Michael Woods, had the right look, the right star, an incredible attention to period looks and everything else it could have had. It ran after the stylish Miami Vice which sadly did'nt provide a carrier wave for its actually-more-stylish companion. Woods played a falsely-disgraced cop who took over his brothers' private eye agency. Now recognized as a should-have-made-it, you'll have little luck hunting it down since it has never officially been released on CD or streaming.
