This series started out great! Then, after 4 episodes it dropped to okay. Then on the 6th episode it became RIDICULOUS!! Episodes 7 and 8 just made no sense at all. Such a great start and a disappointing mid season. Dont bother!

Contrived & predictable. The main character’s actions make absolutely no sense. Not credible. Big disappointment.

If you enjoyed David Cronenberg’s horror movies, you’re gonna love it! Reminds me of The Fly due to stellar performances by the lead actors in each case (Jeff Goldblum in The Fly and now, an amazingly gutsy performance by Demi Moore). There’s an expertly crafted build up of tension as the story progresses and an over the top payoff at the end. And kudos to Dennis Quad for his fantastic performance as the ultimate Hollywood misogynist. Demi Moore should be on the short list for an Oscar. .

A beautifully photographed epic mess. Scenes cut haphazardly destroy any trace of a narrative. Director Malick probably shot a 5 hour movie that studios cut in half. Believe me it shows it. Not worth your time despite the amazing cinematography.

So disappointed. Watched this Turkey based on Rotten Tomatoes reviews of 91%. What??? Better Movie Title: Overweight charmless actor Russel Crowe meets Ken. Seriously deranged that RT gives this junk any more than a splat. Don’t waste your time, seriously.

From Bernard Cornwell, the author of the truly remarkable Netflix series “The Last Kingdom”. The lead as Arthur is equally as charismatic as Utred The supporting cast is equally as memorable as those in The Last Kingdom. The Winter King story may not be initially as compelling as first season of The Last Kingdom, but we do have relatable & charismatic established characters who we clearly care about. It would be a shame to dismiss the writers on this project. I believe this story has somewhere to go that will equal or surpass The Last Kingdom. And by the way, for those who have given this latest version of a genre we really love a less than stelllar review. Please hold off on your reviews until you have watched all 9 episodes. Thank you

I can watch this movie again & again because it’s seriously one of the best outdoor man vs nature epic adventures ever produced with exceptional performances by Sir Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin. Fantastic Alaska location, scary soundtrack and a gradual build up of tension & suspense. And btw, the bear is really scary! John Huston would have been proud to direct this epic. So if you are into JH films, don’t miss this one!

Great movie! Non stop action. Solid performances. Believable characters. One of Butler’s best. Don’t miss it!

Episodes 1 & 2: Way too slow. Talky and implausible. Captain’s actions are ridiculous. Sad application of great Jefferson Airplane and Bowie songs. If I see another wide eyed “Oh my gosh” close up in the final scene before credits I’m going to turn it off.
