Rise of Skywalker is entertaining, yet horrific storytelling. JJ’s aesthetics are great and the cast turned in some phenomenal performances, but the script is all over the place, plagued with head scratching moments and sub-plots that are set up and never play out. Have to say it’s my least favorite Star Wars movie which I didn’t think was possible given the existence of Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones.
