Loved the show but Amazon is the worst platform to watch subtitles on. If you pause or rewind, a bar shows up and you can’t read what is being said. The same with sounds - parentheses will come up showing “coughing” and it is over the dialogue. I will look for other platforms for my next subtitled show. But this show is fun, engaging and sucks you in!! The characters are all multi-dimensional and you find yourself rooting for all of them. Brilliant acting too!

This could have been a one hour Dateline episode. Netflix dragged it out with endless commentary and speculation by web sleuths that didn’t go anywhere. Mind-numbing and painful, Netflix made this story a waste of time which isn’t fair to Elisa Lam.
