I loved the film!! I'd heard negative comments about it, but we decided to watch it anyway, and I'm glad we did. It is tender and moving. Each "cat" stayed in character even while singing which was refreshing. I saw the Broadway version years ago, and I like this one better. It isn't so much over danced and belted as are most broadway shows- it's more real and heartfelt which is very suitable for film.. Thanks for a different and, in my opinion, beautiful interpretation of T.S Elliott.
