I was brought up watching the original over and over with my mum, it has a very special place in my heart. I was apprehensive to watch this remake as I was sure they'd ruin it. But I was wrong. I loved this remake. The cinematography was fabulous and in keeping with the 1950s. Everything about it brought back the same emotional rollercoaster that I experienced with the original. And my 18 year daughter loved it too.
