Long Review: Honestly, I was eagerly waiting for a moment like this, when I could see my favourite childhood show being made into a Live-action series. However, I'm very disappointed. I would like to mention few things(Spoiler alert): First of all, This is a Fantasy show for Fairies and Magic. I didn't get any vibes like that. It was just another show that portrays dark storyline, where everyone is rude and awkward. Too much of adult talks that wasn't even necessary and teenagers who are all messed up. This doesn't even relate to any average teenager, if that's what they were trying to do. Then the most significant part of Winx club is their colourful theme, futuristic gadgets, or advanced technology. None of that was there in this show. In fact their Fashion sense was very poor and why the hell are they all addicted to their phones. They are all suppose to be from different kingdoms and backgrounds. The soundtrack is really bad. Character development is awful. Bloom is rude and reckless for no reason. This show was about friendship and love but It was all forced on their characters. I didn't see any bonding moments or romance. They changed main characters like Flora and Tecna with all whitewashed caste. All of them seem to have this bad attitude. If that's what a fairy world is then what is the difference between fairies and humans. Stella is just a mean girl and nothing else. I didn't like sky or Riven. They're completely different characters here. Not to mention, they even removed Brandon. Bloom's background and perspective is so stereotypical and her love connection with sky is just terrible. Even sky and stella's past thing is messed up. I believe it should've been more colourful with better dressup, gadgets, Character and story portrayals, more kind and sophisticated fairies, may be something more positive and interesting, better storyline and obviously more diverse caste. Bloom's transformation in the end was badly presented. Cinderella's transformation in the 2015 movie was much better then that. Lastly, the winx club gave every little girl this feeling of escape from this world into a beautiful world of magic, friendship, love and feeling beautiful. However, I don't know what sort of message or vibe this show is giving. I understand everyone has their own perspective and I respect that, These are just some of my thoughts being a Winx club fan for many years.
