First episodes can be tricky to pull off. They must set up the premise, introduce the characters, have an engaging plot and a satisfying ending or cliffhanger. It's hard to do in 45 minutes and For Life had me engaged from the start. It's an underdog story combined with legal drama. I'll definitely be watching this show to see how things play out!
