It was just ok. I really like Christmas Rom-Coms, but the acting in this felt stilted, especially by the male romantic lead. I don't think the actors had chemistry. The story line didn't really play out well. It rushed the viewer to a conclusion, but the writing and acting didn't get us there. I did appreciate that it was clean and I could watch it with my kids around. I wanted to really like this, but it fell flat. I also appreciated that the family was biracial, which is very common, but Hollywood seemed too afraid to portray before. Watch it with your kids, but you will have to check your brain at the door. I'm glad Netflix is trying to create Hallmark style movies.
