They completely screwed everything up. Turned Joel, Tommy and Ellie into idiots, they especially wrote Ellie terribly. The story is riddled with plot holes, they make us play as a character everyone passionately despises. And the ending, my god the ending is awful. Not a single character has a satisfying conclusion. This is worse than Game of Thrones season 8. The gameplay is fine, the visuals are great, but that is not what I play TLOU for, I play it for the story, and the story could not be worse.
