This movie isn't about what you may think based on the trailer.It's not the standard alien invasion, extraterrestrial vs human genre.No CGI alien entity to anticipate.It's more of a low budget scifi/alternate reality thriller that's so wrapped in cultism that you forget the point of it.And so boring that by the time something remotely catches your attention..your mind has drifted into another reality.Of something else you could have watched.

This movie goes beyond the normal CGI creature movie that we're accustomed to and relies more on a psychological fear.One that's felt more than seen.A rollercoaster ride of emotion..fear,survival,hope,determination,guilt,doubt,compassion...you name it.And of course the acting performance of Sandra Bullock is what keeps you glued to the climax.It is both engaging & suspenseful. Rather they like it or not,everyone's talking about it!!

Before watching this be forewarned..this is not a supernatural horror in the sense of Annabelle or Chucky but more of a horror suspense.No animated doll special effects but more of a suspenseful plot.. with all the 'creepy doll' clichès but not what you might expect.The unexpected twist in the ending is more clichè than the creepy doll redundancy. But all in all,Lauren Cohan is worth watching. Her performance makes a otherwise weak, subpar horror movie a watchable product.
