Een stukje jeugdsentiment :) Heerlijk boek. Lekker avontuurlijk. De personages Abeltje, Laura, meneer Tump en Klaterhoen zijn mooie persoonlijkheden. Verrassende wendingen in het plot.

This is a magical story about a little girl named Matilda. She learned to read, write and do arithmetic on her own, mainly at the library. She was so smart she knew not to show off. She really listened to others and responded to what they thought as well as what they said. She was a bit of a rebel but she was wise about her tricks. This is a delightful story about the magic of the little girl Matilda.
