I was totally transfixed when I viewed Robbie's first episode,- very 'watchable' with a backdrop to envy, especially when it is changing day to day. The gentle, rhythmic sound from the boat's engine is a joy to listen too and compliments the whole 'ethos' of Robbie's commentary. Will there be a series of 'Winter Canal Diaries'? Might be 'niche' programme for some people but clearly there loss. Brilliant! - and thanks! Graham Tann

This show warms my heart. As we are 'pushed' and 'prodded',- (somewhat blindly in my view),- towards newer and apparently safer technologies, it is great to see what gems are being bought into the light through through a 'good old rummage'! Two likeable presenters who like each other and share each other's passions,- crikey!! Thank you for a gem of a show!
