I just finished watching the red sleeve and I must say this is one of the most heartbreaking kdrama I have watched so far, I was literally in tears. Even though the viewers would expect a happy ending it made sense that they followed the original story of the book. I love the way they molded the ending it left us with a bitter sweet experience, we are left to love or hate it. Many hated the way Deok-Im ended it with San, it is not that she hated him, she just wanted to leave a life where should would be a free woman and can make her own choices not answerable to any man. So in the end she didn’t hate San she just hated the system. I must say the actors did a commendable job with portraying their characters, they really embodied their respectable roles in the drama. Also the production team did a good job.
