Tosma A – Google

This movie had so much potential. The first 30mins was so emotional for me and I cried so much...Michelle Phiffer's emotion was so well done that I was drawn to her character's pain. Asides that, every other thing was a let down..for instance he husband's lack of emotion or blatantly blaming her for what happened was so triggering for me. Also I guess they were trying to portray that the brother felt guilty for what happened but the way this was conveyed was just weird. Then the storyline between Ben/Sam and his adopted dad was just done incredibly bad. He knew nothing about the kidnap and they just couldn't be bothered about his feelings!! Also how did he let Sam/Ben leave the house at almost midnight, under the cold with that heavy bag alone..come on!! So much potential but so disappointing!

Loved this....captivating from the beginning. I laughed, cried, got angry...basically all emotions there is. The story simply reminds us to not take people around us for granted. A simple 'Thank you' goes a long way. Ofcourse, the critics aint gonna like this cause they were basically called out!! So dont be discouraged by the critics and their review of this movie. Watch with an open mind and you will appreciate the perofmance by both Zendaya and John Washington, the cinematography and brilliant dialgue that touches on loads of stuff. I recommend this anyday, anytime and i'll definitely be rewatching it.
