Came into the movie with no expectations and I was still disappointed. So many reviews say how good the special effects are but they are selectively good. The ice and fire used are pretty good, but the lightning from the thunder god is laughably bad and the green screen scenes are obviously computer generated. As most of the other commenters have said Kano is well portraid but the rest of the cast lack realism. I just find myself wanting to laugh during scenes that are supposed to be serious. The plot is meh, as a concept I can get behind it but the actual script has no believability. They talk about training to get ready but there is no training, no progression. It starts with inexperienced regular joes and all the sudden you've got a group of superpowers masters of combat.
