Getting a notification to purchase this game, reminded me I needed to leave a review. One star isn't low enough. I pre-ordered the game and a week before the game dropped, I got the big update that changed the whole platform in preparation of the release. The second I opened the game, I got a chat warning. I hadn't even played a game and I got a chat band. I thought it might be a mistake and I messaged Activision. Then I went to play the game and immediately got a 14-day chat band after the person in my party yelled a cuss word while we were getting the lobby together. So within 20 minutes, I received a chat warning and a 14-day chat band Just because I turned on the game. At that point, I've returned the game and bought a few game bundles in exchange. I'm not going to pay money to a game that gets to dictate how I communicate to this extent. This game was supposed to be for adults and they're adding all of these precautions to protect children that shouldn't be playing this game in the first place. I will never buy another call of duty game as long as they're making it mandatory to enter into a contract about your communications. Especially when you're giving them the power to take your game away from you for any reason, ultimately showing that you're renting the game, not necessarily owning it. If Activision wants to be a babysitter for irresponsible parents, then I'll spend my money with a company that actually respects adults. You know, the only people who are actually purchasing any games!
