I'm happy that the monsters or things looked just like the Stephen Gammel art in the original books. It's styled as the goosebumps movie. Several stories like Harold, red spot, the Big Toe ,dream, me tie doughty walker are stories used. But there were nods to a few others if you watched closely like The Red Ribbon. It's a fun movie . I loved the books when I was a kid...a great movie and book for halloween.
