If you have ever actually READ the book the movie will make you MAD. For one simple reason they add an entire piece to the movie that has absolutely nothing to do with the book which is the chief elder wanting the community guards to bring down Jonas because framed as an issue to the community and that is complete HOGWASH the whole freaking movie is practically based on the community trying to find Jonas and "take him away". I'm not one of the people who read the books and say that the movie has to be exactly like the book but i'll tell you this DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Honestly hollywood you messed up an amazing book to become a TERRIBLE, DEPLORABLE, SICKENING, REPUGNANT, movie you all who helped make this movie should be absolutely ASHAMED. I could have made this move with only 12 million dollars and more people would love my version rather the hollywood version. TERRIBLE just straight TERRIBLE and I'm saying that as a 13 year old boy. TERRIBLE And Merryl Streep bless your heart because you had to be a part of something so freaking BAD.
