The book’s goal is character development and showing how the characters find inner peace. However, the characters weren’t developed in the level of depth you would expect from 445 pages. Also, this book is definitely not a psychological thriller (coming from someone who loves Ruth Ware and Dhari Lapena books), because, as many other reviews are suggesting, there is nothing climactic or thrilling about the book. I just finished reading the book 10 minutes ago and wish I had known all of this before reading the book because I wouldn’t have.
