With the exception of Scorpion and maybe Subzero, casting was horrible and the action is stuck in the early 80s. The original release is miles ahead of the action in this 2021 remake. Kano had some funny lines. Liu Kang... wrong actor and I feel sorry that he had to read his horrible line in a manner that didn't suit him at all. No spoilers here... just wait for it to appear on Netflix a year from now and save your money.
