This game is good, but a long way from perfect. I have actually played this game through to the end but I will not spoil anything. The gameplay is not for everyone, especially fnaf fans since it is a far cry from the usual linear structure of those games, but different isn’t always bad. There is a decent challenge to sneaking through the pizzaplex and exploration is rewarding. The game can be scary at times but it’s not as scary as previous fnaf games, although the lack of reliance on jumpscares is commendable. The fear in this game is from tension and atmosphere, not a cheap surprise. There are more than a few bugs but nothing game breaking in my experience. The UI needs work though. It is sloppy and not easy to read. Visually the game is great if you have the hardware needed, I played on PS5 on performance mode and the game looked great all the way through with minimal frame drops. Overall I’d recommend this game to fans of open world stealth games and fnaf fans willing to have an open mind and try something different.
