Tons of star power, even more potential. This movie is set in a dystopian future that is begging to be explored but it winds up being ten miles wide and two feet deep. This cast deserved better. I so wanted to like this movie.

Though it is not Star Trek, it certainly has the Trek feel. Thoughtful subjects, if a little irreverent, hearken back to the original series. The show doesn't take itself too serious and it doesn't flinch away from truly uncomfortable issues. I often find myself uncomfortable when confronted with the shows subject matter, but that is the true mission of Sci-Fi, to confront us, and be a mirror, a social commentary. I like it.
