Black lightning has a lot of potential but anything cool about it gets brushed aside by the shows obvious racism towards whites and constant family turmoil. The heroes and villains in this show are portrayed very well and could be great if they would focus on that more. I love that there's an all black superhero show but there's no sense for this constant hate the whites mentality in it. Black Lightnings suit also bothers me. If you're trying to sneak and hide, why have a suit with glowing rainbow lightning on it? I get that it follows the comics in that sense but if you're sneaking, turn off the glow.
