Tadaima is an exploration into one immigrant family's experience when their mother and host countries go to war. During World War II, many Japanese American families were split between Japan and the United States, sometimes with brothers serving on opposite sides of the conflict. Post-war, these families help to form the bridge between these two modern allies. Tom Coffman has a gift for making historical elements come to life in an interesting and engaging way.
