i absolutely loved the book , it felt like an emotional rollercoaster and i balled my eyes out while reading the end. i recommended the book to anyone who would listen to my opinion. i was over thrilled when i got news they were making a movie. when it came out i was so ready to watch it. i feel they did a good job getting some scenes aligned with how they were in the book. although i would say i was very disappointed with the actor they chose to play lily , it’s just not who i envisioned and i feel she didn’t play to lilys character that well. i saw lily as innocent soft, sweet, strong, naive at times, caring and full of emotion but blake just didn’t meet that standard to me. i feel she even played her a little mean on some scenes like the way she would say things and just not a tone i would expect. same goes for younger lily she just didn’t portray lily her looks did but not the acting. As for Ryle i wasn’t too sure how i felt but in the end i feel Justin played Ryle very well. younger atlas was a bad choice because he look very different from older atlas. i was also okay with older atlas, he played his gentle character very well. overall i’d give it a 3/5 i will want to watch it another time and dig in to other details i may have missed.

Truly a cinematic masterpiece ! i’ve watched it twice in theaters now and really loved it. Loved the 1st movie but this one really brings everything together and is now one of my favorite movies. The work that was done for this movie was perfect and turned out amazing. All actors did a phenomenal job.

phenomenal , the end took me by surprise , did not see that it would end in such suspense. looking forward to the next movie.
