Well, I’ve just finished season 2 and now I am listening to the last song on repeat waiting for the next season to come out and in (hopefully) June!
It’s a show that truly succeeds at portraying the developments of its characters, their struggles and humanity in a very sensitive way! Not only does it shed light on what is often not much talked about: living out and proud after the coming out! It’s still a long way to full self-acceptance and requires lots of dealing with the environment, endless other coming outs… but it also doesn’t lack the comforting, sometimes cringe aspects of a teen drama, which makes it incredibly well bingeable! And finally, it also shows how a series can incorporate the stories and struggles not only of the one lead figure, but of other side characters, too, which makes the show rich in beautiful messages and moments! Anyways, I’ve never written a review before, but this time I just felt like it, so I warmly recommend:)))
