Apparently there was some campaign by comic-book bros to tank the reviews for this show. See the same energy for the Captain Marvel franchise. It's disappointing.
She Hulk isn't a perfect show, but is a good show with a solid leading actress and interesting supporting characters. Some of the plots are odd (Tat Maslany finding it hard to get a date? Really?) But they should land the show into the 2-4 star range, not the 1 star.
People who rated this show 1 star are saying "This is the lowest level any TV show could reach," which is obviously not true. There's a lot of dreck on TV that is considerably worse: all the cop show clones, the resurrected franchises of CBS's glory years. and nearly every comedy.
So the flood of 1-star reviews have to be seen in that light. And it comes across as a sad kind of sexism among the comic book bros out there.
Among the MCU series, I'd put She Hulk on the second tier: below Wandavision, Hawkeye, and Loki, but above Falcon/Winter Soldier and Moon Knight. Is it as good as the Black Widow movie? No, not close, but it shouldn't need to be a 5-star series to avoid a wave of 1-star reviews.
