Late review but here we go. IT'S NOT A BAD MOVIE. but it isn't the best. It is first of all a great movie to watch with friends for fun. If you feel like randomly watching a horror movie then put this on. The movie is a high quality production film with cheesy horror scenes( library, hospital, extended hallways, dark woods etc.) and poor dialogue for great actors with unfortunate opportunity express their characters even more. It isn't much of a jump scare every second movie which I actually like. It doesn't stick to the original slenderman summoning exactly but if you come open minded then you will be okay to watch it. IT ISN'T BORING. Every second is something news and sometimes you can question the scares but we need to understand that we are supposed to feel an uncomfortable and supernatural feeling that slenderman is. Messing with their heads and is close by. Spoiler alert not really. Most of it takes place in the dark but there is a one scene when they summon him.....like all things when summoning a demon the light is usually close to nothing. We missed a small detail that when they call the video boring.....there is a shadow in the background that grows taller taking the silhouette of slenderman....and that symbolizes the start of the haunting. Although we can question the end and some of the death scenes. We have to understand that this is a PG 13 movie and some things we got to limit compared to back then.
