The movie is awesome, James Wan is the hero that DC fans deserved and so desperately needed, while the long runtime might seem a drawback to few but apart from that the movie is a treat to watch, it's comic accurate and I must say everyone did their job exceedingly well, hope this is where DCEU is reborn!

Well it wasn't anywhere close to as bad as the critics would like you to believe, it was highly entertaining, some flaws are evident and the criticism about it being made just as an appetizer for a franchise are spot on, other than Tom Hardy has really carried the movie on his shoulders efficiently, villian was a weak ass due to lack of character development or some intimidating scenes , despite all that the eddie-venom relationship was the highlight of the movie, certainly more story development is needed in the second part but it's actually pretty decent , don't go in expecting every movie to be a dark knight or an Infinity war, venom is a good guilty pleasure.
