Spent most of the movie trying to figure out what it was about. Hadn't read anything about it. Also, Jim Carrey was so different, I had to check to make sure it was him.
But I was impressed by his performance: his gait as he walked and the way he carried himself was well done, I thought.
Why were the reviews so negative? Did the critics resent a funny-man-become-serious for trying something new?
